Gallery Alma Blou
Gallery Alma Blou is the oldest and largest gallery on the island of Curaçao, Dutch Caribbean.
Lusette Verboom has been running the gallery for 25 years and has built a trustworthy relationship with the most well-known artists on the island. Curaçao is a melting pot of the different cultures of the Caribbean. Being part of the Dutch Kingdom and having owned the largest oil refinery in the world during the Second World War, people of the whole Caribbean have found their way to the island. The art found on the island is a reflection of its diverse and vibrant population. Gallery Alma Blou represents a wide range of artists, both local and from other parts of the Caribbean.

Founded in 2020 by British-Jamaican Sherece Rainford, Gallery OCA is a gallery and movement committed to supporting, promoting and showcasing the work of artists of Caribbean heritage. The gallery’s mission is to challenge the lack of representation in the art world, preserve the historic legacy of the islands and commercially empower the sector. The gallery’s inaugural exhibition Corporeality: Anthony Daley was held at Cromwell Place, London, UK in December 2021.
Olympia Gallery
The Olympia Gallery, located in Jamaica’s capital city Kingston, is the largest commercial art gallery in the island showcasing diverse works by contemporary and emerging Jamaican artists. Built in the 1970’s the Gallery is an expansive 2-storey octagonal exhibition space topped by murals painted by Jamaican forerunners.
