TERN was founded in 2020 by Amanda Coulson and Lauren Perez with Jodi Minnis.

TERN is a contemporary art gallery and art consultancy business with a focus on emerging and mid-career artists from The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.

As a contemporary art gallery, our core mission is cultural exchange and international dialogue. To fulfill this, TERN plans to engage and to service audiences beyond The Bahamas. TERN strives to provide greater exposure for significant art within the region and to engage in conceptual narratives and relevant conversations in contemporary art. TERN aims to be a collaborative platform by extending our curatorial and programming resources to practitioners to expand our community, cultural outreach, and colloquy.
